“Aamba Mahotsav” the Mango Festival. This is based upon the motto that to all the mango lovers should get an opportunity to buy the fruits directly from the farmers itself. So 30-40 mango producers (farmers) from the Konkan region are invited to come and bring together at one place to the festival. In this they all bring their own hapus from their mango farms. Thus the people from Pune get to buy the real hapus and paayri at one trust-worthy place.

The main thing is that each and every farmer who is participating in the festival should have his “Satbara” i.e. 7/12 extract. We check everyone’s 7/12v extract by our own so that even there should not be any fraud. Also “the mangoes should be grown in a totally natural way” is the only necessary condition for them.

In Pune, BalGandharva Rangmandir & in Chinchwad RamKrushna More Sabhagruha are the two places where we organize our Aamba Mahotsav. Here people will get to enjoy the very famous mango kulfi as well as the home-made papad,pithla-bhakri,pickles & masala etc. are available at the venue. The mango producers (farmers) and Mahila Bacha Gut get the best platform to sell their products at their real worthy value. So it is very profitable to them also.
